A Leaf Falls

Twirling from the shiny eucalyptus

Its white trunk stark against ever blue sky

A little boy saw the leaf fall. Like us,

Beauty simple and sweet. A silent sigh

Merging as one in parting. And in loss

Finding a common meandering flow.

Hands held up in namaste because

Our fingers touched when it was time to go.
